Built a whole shelf system in my garage for $80, then realized the car wasn't the problem
For two years I kept my Civic outside while my garage filled up with boxes and a busted lawnmower. My neighbor Ray watched me trip over a paint can one Saturday and just said "your car's worth more than that junk, right?" That got me thinking. So I measured the wall, grabbed eight 2x4s and some brackets from the hardware store, spent $80 total, and got everything off the floor in one afternoon. Turns out I never needed a shed or a storage unit, I just needed to hang stuff up. Anyone else find out their storage problem was really just clutter they refused to deal with?
