Covered carport vs. enclosed garage, my 6 month verdict
I parked my 67 Mustang under a covered carport all winter in Ohio, thinking it was enough. The daily frost and road salt still got to the undercarriage, and I ended up spending $240 on rust treatment this spring. Has anyone else found a cheaper way to seal a car from moisture without building a full garage?

Did you try spraying the underside with fluid film before winter hit?
