Paid for heated storage, used a car cover instead. Big mistake.

Left my Mustang under a cover for 3 months in a unheated garage. Moisture trapped underneath, got mildew on the seats and rust spots on the chrome. Cost me $400 to fix vs the $150 I saved. Anyone else had cover horror stories?

Dude, that hurts to read! My buddy thought he was saving money with a tarp on his project car, same thing happened, mold everywhere. Bet that Mustang is a beauty too, sorry you had to learn the hard way like that. At least you can laugh about it now while wiping down the chrome, right?
