The racks at a self storage place in Tulsa taught me to park my project car on wood
I was at a storage facility off Route 66 in Tulsa last month helping a buddy move some stuff, and I noticed the guy in unit B14 had his 68 Mustang sitting on 4 pieces of 2x10 instead of bare concrete. I asked him about it and he said the concrete sweats in spring and he pulled his tires once after only 8 months from the damp. Grabbed some scrap plywood for my own garage that weekend and my tires have stayed dry through two rainstorms so far, anyone else do this or am I late to the party?
