Took me 6 hours to find a simple tire leak in my storage unit

I store my project car in a storage unit in Phoenix and noticed a slow leak in one tire. After 6 hours of spraying soapy water and checking the valve stem, I finally found a tiny crack in the rim. Has anyone else dealt with rim leaks instead of tire issues?

Took me forever once too, turns out it was a rim crack on my truck. I was so mad after checking the tire three times. Phoenix heat does weird stuff to metal I guess.

My buddy @jordans18 had the exact same issue with his Tacoma a few months back. We spent all afternoon checking the valve stem and the sidewall, then I finally cleaned the rim edge and found a hairline crack near the bead. Phoenix heat is brutal on aluminum rims I swear, my old Accord had a rim crack after three summers here and I never would've spotted it without a whole bottle of soapy water.
