Dropped $65 on a LinkedIn Premium month and it actually got me a $12k raise, here's the weird part
I know that sounds like an ad but hear me out. Back in March I was stuck at $58k doing the same reports for 3 years and my manager kept dodging my growth conversations. A guy from my old job in Denver swore by the free trial, so I paid the $65 for one month, mostly to see who was viewing my profile. Turns out the 'who viewed you' list is the whole point. I saw a recruiter from a competitor checking me out twice in one day, so I messaged her directly instead of applying through the portal. She got me on a call 4 days later and the offer came in at $70k. I never even used the courses or the InMail credits, just the view list and a normal DM. Your mileage may vary depending on your field, but for anyone in a job family where recruiters lurk, that one month was cheaper than a resume service. Has anyone else actually gotten something out of the paid tier, or was I just lucky with the timing?
