Got a surprise callback from an old supervisor, now I'm torn

I left my claims adjuster job in Columbus about 14 months ago because the workload was killing me, but my old boss just called asking if I'd come back at $6,000 more a year. The money would help a lot, but I remember how stressed I was every Sunday night dreading Monday. Has anyone gone back to a job they quit and made it work, or do the same problems just come back?

Tried that exact thing last year and lasted 4 months before I quit again. Same stress, same Sunday dread, just with a few extra bucks in the bank until I couldn't take it anymore.
