Switching to a plain paper resume got me more callbacks than those fancy templates
I spent hours designing this perfect resume template with columns and icons, and after 3 months of nothing I tried just a simple black and white Word doc with bullet points. Suddenly I got 4 interviews in two weeks. Has anyone else had hiring managers tell them those fancy templates mess with the automated scanners?
