The $60 resume rewrite I wish I'd done sooner
Paid a freelance writer on Fiverr to overhaul my resume after a year of zero callbacks in Columbus. Got three interviews within a month, one turned into an offer. Has anyone else had luck with paid resume services or did I just get lucky?

The "zero callbacks in Columbus" part really hit home for me, that grind is brutal. I did the same thing last year, paid someone on Upwork just to fix my bullet points and add some numbers, and it was like night and day. Not saying it's magic for everyone, but sometimes you're just too close to your own work to see what's actually missing (or what's just cluttered noise). Glad it paid off for you, that offer must've felt amazing after all that silence.
