Took me 3 months to realize I was formatting my resume wrong
I kept wondering why I wasn't getting callbacks after applying to 40+ jobs in Phoenix. Then a recruiter buddy looked at my resume and said I was using the wrong file type, sending PDFs when their system only reads .docx. Anybody else run into dumb formatting rules that killed your applications?

Wait, PDFs are actually killing applications? I thought PDFs were like the safe option everyone recommended. That's wild that some systems just straight up reject them for no reason.
