Client argued with me for 10 minutes about pocket screws
Had a guy last Tuesday swear pocket screws are stronger than traditional joinery on a dining table. I told him they're fine for cabinets but not for a table that gets daily use. He walked out and I wonder if I should have just kept my mouth shut.

Had a guy last month argue with me for 15 minutes that a pocket hole jig was the only tool he needed to build a whole kitchen. Told him good luck with that when those screws start stripping out after a year of opening and closing cabinets. He got all red in the face and said I was just trying to upsell him on joinery tools. Walked right out like I was trying to cheat him. Some people just want to hear what they already believe and get mad when you tell them different.

Used to think I could get by with just a Kreg jig myself. Changed my mind fast after building one cabinet.
