Ditched my nail gun for a hammer on trim work, still shocked
I spent 14 years in Austin swearing by my 18 gauge nailer for baseboards until a homeowner asked me to hand-nail their 100 year old quarter round and the fit was just cleaner. The gun left those tiny divots that always needed putty, but a good hammer set with a nail set gives me a perfect flush finish every time. Anyone else go back to basics on trim and find it faster once you get the rhythm down?
