Heard a guy at the lumber yard call my framing gun 'the easy button' and it got me thinking
I was picking up 2x4s at the yard in Boise last Tuesday and the guy loading next to me nodded at my nail gun and said "that thing's the easy button, huh." I laughed it off, but on the drive home I realized he wasn't wrong, and that bugged me a little. I learned to frame with a hammer and a chalk line back when I was 19, and now I can slap a wall together in 20 minutes without breaking a sweat. So my question is, do you guys think power tools have made us lazy, or just smarter about where we put our energy?
