My cordless nailer gave out halfway through a deck rebuild last Thursday

The firing pin just snapped on the third box of nails, and I had to finish the job with my old manual hammer. Anyone have a favorite brand that's held up for years under heavy use?

Heard some guys say Milwaukee tools are overkill for DIY stuff, but that's wild if yours lasted through two houses. What kind of work did you put it through?

Right, that's exactly my story too. I beat the hell out of my Milwaukee framing nailer for like five straight years and it only quit when I accidentally dropped it off a ladder onto concrete. I swear those things are built like tanks (or at least they were before that fall).
