Spent $300 on a fancy laser level for a deck job and the client's cat kept chasing the dot...
I had to shut it off every five minutes and just ended up using my old 4-foot level, so has anyone found a good way to keep pets away from a work zone without locking them up?

Try a spray bottle with water, robert64 has a point about simple solutions. The cat learns fast and you keep working. It beats buying more gear that just causes new problems.
