The day I realized miter saws can drift after 4 years if you never check the fence

I was cutting 300 feet of baseboard for a job in Tacoma and every single piece came out 2 degrees off until the homeowner's old man pointed at the fence gap with his coffee cup, so has anyone else had a saw slowly slip out of square without you noticing?
