Spent $80 on a knee kicker with a wider head and it's a game changer for tight spots

I got tired of fighting with my old standard one in corners and closets, so I bought a wider head model about six months ago. The extra width gives you way more control on the final stretch into a wall, especially on thicker carpets. It cost me around $80, which felt like a lot for one tool, but it has saved me so much time and frustration on every job since. I don't have to reposition it as much, and the seams look cleaner. Has anyone else tried a different style of kicker that made their day easier?

Wait, you spent $80 on a different shaped head? I just use my old kicker and give it a harder whack with my palm in the corner. That extra width seems like it would just get in the way on a normal stretch, like you're trading one problem for another.

Oh yeah, because my palm is a precision tool...

Frustrates me how everything has to be a specialized tool now instead of just using what works. Bought a fancy cheese grater once with all these attachments and it just made a mess. My grandma's old box grater still does the job fine. Good tools can solve problems but sometimes we overcomplicate simple stuff that already worked.
