The Wednesday that just kept giving me good cuts

Last month I had a run of terrible jobs, then Wednesday hit and everything just clicked. Finished a 300 square foot bedroom in Richfield in under 4 hours with zero seam issues and the backing laid flat on the first try. The homeowner even tipped me $40 and said it looked better than the last guy's work. Anybody else have those random days where the carpet gods just smile on you?

Saying a good day "sets you up for failure" feels a little dramatic, don't you think?

Oh man, I gotta disagree with you on this one. I think those "perfect" days actually set you up for failure later because you start expecting everything to go that smooth. Carpet work is never that easy and when you get a day like that, it tricks you into thinking you're better than you are. The next job will probably kick your butt just to balance things out lol.
