Why do guys still kick carpet to stretch it in instead of using a power stretcher?
I was at a job in Phoenix two weeks ago and watched this guy try to kick a 12 by 15 berber into place with his knee, and he ended up with a wrinkle the size of a shoe. A power stretcher takes 5 extra minutes to set up but saves you a callback every single time, and I have seen it pay off on at least 6 jobs this year alone. So why do so many installers still treat the knee kicker like it is the only tool in the truck?
