Bulk rice from the Asian market saved my grocery budget by 40 percent

Idk if anyone else has noticed this, but last month I switched from buying those little 2-pound bags of rice at the regular grocery store to getting a 20-pound sack from the Asian market. The cost difference was wild, like $0.60 a pound versus $0.15 or something. I eat rice almost every day with beans or stir fry, so after 3 weeks I already saved about 12 bucks just on that one swap. Has anyone else found a cheaper source for staples like beans or oats that made a real dent?

Wait... a 20-pound bag? I didn't even know they sold rice that big haha. That's a crazy price difference, I gotta check my local Asian market now.

Got a buddy who hit up his local H Mart last week for the first time and he came back with a 25 pounder of jasmine rice for like 18 bucks. Said his girlfriend nearly lost it when she saw the bag on the counter, thought he was stocking up for a zombie apocalypse or something lol. They're still eating off that same bag months later and swears it tastes way better than the stuff in the little boxes at the regular grocery store. I swear once you go big bag you never go back.
