Hot take: overnight oats are way better than scrambled eggs for cheap breakfasts

I tried both for a month each and my $3 bag of oats lasted me 12 days while eggs were gone in 4. Have you actually compared the cost per serving or just going with what's popular?

And it's funny because we do this with so many things in life, not just food. We get used to what's familiar and never stop to count how much something really costs us over time. A little math upfront would save most of us a lot of money and hassle down the road.

Yeah and it's crazy how we never stop to think... like I still pay for a gym I haven't been to in months.

Oh man, @laura940 you hit the nail on the head. I saw this article recently about how most people never add up what their daily coffee habit costs over a year, and it was shocking. We just do stuff out of habit without ever stopping to do that quick math.
