My aunt swore by frozen veggies and she was totally right
My aunt told me last summer that bagged frozen broccoli and spinach are cheaper than fresh and just as good for soups and stir-fries. I tried it for a month and saved about $12 a week on groceries without losing any flavor. Has anyone else gotten good budget tips from a family member that actually worked out?

My grandma taught me to buy frozen peas and corn in bulk during sales and now I always keep a bag in the freezer for quick meals. Best tip she ever gave me.

Wait, I used to be one of those people who thought fresh was always better, right? I'd literally drive past the frozen aisle without a second thought. But honestly, after trying my cousin's frozen broccoli in a stir-fry last winter I completely changed my mind. It's way easier to just grab a bag and toss it in than to wash and chop fresh stuff, especially when you're tired after work. So yeah, I guess your aunt and my cousin were onto something with that whole frozen veggie thing.
