Sam's Club day-old bakery rack saved my lunch prep for real

Stopped by the Sam's Club near my job last Thursday around 8am and noticed they put out the day-old bread and pastry boxes right by the produce entrance. Got a giant bag of croissants for $3.50 and a loaf of sourdough for under a buck. Made breakfast sandwiches with eggs and frozen sausage for the whole week, came out to maybe 80 cents each. Does your store do this at a certain time too, or did I just get lucky with the morning restock?
