That $30 dollar rice cooker was a total trap for my meal prep
I grabbed a tiny rice cooker from a discount bin in Portland to stretch my grocery budget, but after 3 weeks it scorched every batch and left a burnt smell in my whole apartment. Realized I could have just used a pot and lid for free, and the fancy settings were worthless when the heating plate was uneven. Anyone else wasted cash on a gadget that made cheap eating harder instead of easier?
