I was sitting at a little counter spot in Reno last Tuesday and watched the cook bag up yesterday's bread for a regular who asked nicely. I tried it the next morning and walked out with a full loaf for $1 instead of paying $4 at the store. Does anyone else have a go to line for asking about day old stuff at their local spots?
