I finally snapped at a food critic who told me my plating was 'too rustic' for a $75 entree.
Last month in Denver, after he sent back a perfect lamb shank for the third time, I walked out and told him to try the chain steakhouse down the street if he wanted a tower of food on a giant white plate.

Honestly, paying that much means the presentation should be pretty fancy too.

Ugh, totally feel you @stone.simon. That price tag sets some high hopes. You're not just buying the thing, you're buying the whole experience. I'd expect some next-level unboxing, like custom foam inserts or a fancy cloth pouch. Not just tossed in a plain brown box with some air pillows. Makes it feel cheap.
