Decided to switch from wire brushes to poly-pro brushes for my sweeps last month

I was stuck between sticking with good old wire or trying the poly-pro kind everyone's been talking about, and I went with poly-pro after a buddy in Denver swore by them. Honestly, they clean just as well on creosote but don't scratch up the stainless liners so bad. Has anyone else made the swap and regretted it?

My buddy had a set of brake pads that were supposedly "ceramic" but had this weird gritty coating. First week they were silent, then started squealing like a stuck pig every time he tapped the pedal. He never scratched anything, but the noise drove him crazy enough to switch back to basic organic pads. Your mileage may vary, but sometimes the quiet ones have their own headaches.
