A walk through Pittsburgh's old steel district flipped my take on electric trucks
I toured the Carrie Furnace site last fall with a guy who drove one of those electric delivery vans for a living, and he showed me the soot still caked on the windowsills of abandoned mills. Watching that thing haul scrap metal uphill without a sound made me realize retirement of diesel isn't just about tailpipe stats, it's about cleaning the air people actually breathe in these neighborhoods. Has anyone else had a local industrial site change their mind about a climate fix they used to dismiss?
