I used to think my old house in Phoenix couldn't handle solar, then my neighbor's July bill was $9
I always figured panels were a waste for a 1970s house with a west-facing roof and a tree blocking half of it. Then my neighbor Rosa showed me her bill from July, $9.12 after solar and a small battery, and I sat in her kitchen feeling dumb about the 8 years I spent saying it wouldn't work for me. Has anyone here dealt with a partly shaded roof and still made the numbers work?
