Overheard a coworker mention his solar panels paid for themselves in 4 years

He said his electric bill dropped from $180 a month to about $15 after installing them back in 2020... has anyone else seen that kind of payoff with their setup?

Wait, $15 a month? My phone plan costs more than that. Did he say if that's the whole year average or just a good month?

Always thought solar was way more expensive until I saw this setup.
