Ran the same fixture for 3 years before I flipped it

We make brackets for a local shop in Toledo and I always clamped them by the bottom edge. One day the boss walks over and asks why I never flipped it to hang top down. I did it on a whim and my chatter vanished plus my edges looked cleaner. Turns out I was fighting the tool direction the entire time without seeing it. Anyone else had a bonehead fixture revelation after years of the same setup?
