The coolant in our Haas VF-2 went from clear to cloudy in under a week

We switched to a new synthetic blend from a local supplier in Cincinnati about a month ago. The stuff looked fine at first, but after just five days of running aluminum parts, the whole tank turned milky and started to smell off. I think it's breaking down way too fast and not handling the heat or chips right. Has anyone else had a coolant go bad this quickly with a specific material?

Cloudy in under a week is wild. That new blend is definitely not holding up to the aluminum fines. Sounds like you got a bad batch or the wrong chemistry for your shop.

Bite the bullet and see if they'll replace it.
