Wasted $300 on a digital probe that kept drifting
Bought a fancy touch probe for setting tool offsets on my Haas last month. Third part in, it started reading 0.02mm off every time. Switched back to my old mechanical edge finder and haven't had a problem since. Anyone else have a digital tool that just couldn't hold zero?

Temperature swings will mess with digital probes, gotta let them warm up first.
