Pro tip: printing my variables instead of guessing where the bug was in my Python loop
Spent 2 hours staring at a for loop that kept giving me the wrong total. I was sure the math was off so I rewrote the formula like 4 times. Then I just put print(i) and print(total) inside the loop and ran it. Turned out my list had a string in it so it was adding text to a number. Added int() and it worked in 30 seconds. What's the dumbest bug you only found after adding a print?
