Spent 6 hours debugging a missing semicolon and wanted to throw my laptop out the window

I'm working through this free JavaScript course online and I had this function that just wouldn't run. Kept getting this weird error message about something being undefined. I checked my variables like three times, rewrote half the code, even restarted the whole project from scratch. After like 6 hours across two days I finally noticed I forgot a semicolon after a line in the middle of the function. One stupid character. Has anyone else had a bug that small eat up an entire evening for no reason?

Nah, a semicolon missing just means your code has bad style from the start.
