Stuck on a for loop at the library and the guy next to me fixed it in 2 minutes
I was at the downtown library last Tuesday trying to learn Python and got stuck on a for loop for like an hour. The guy at the next table saw me getting mad at my screen and asked what was up. He looked at my code for 10 seconds and said I forgot the colon at the end of the line. That was it. I felt so dumb but also weirdly happy because I had been staring at it forever. Then he showed me that VS Code puts a little red squiggle under stuff like that, which I didn't even know. Anyone else learn a basic thing the hard way and feel silly after?
