A coffee shop in Spokane made me stop adding sugar to my pour-over
I was at a small place called Indaba Coffee last month, and the barista asked if I wanted to taste my Ethiopian Yirgacheffe black before adding anything. I always put a packet of sugar in, but I tried it. For the first time, I actually tasted the lemon and floral notes they had on the chalkboard. I've been making my morning coffee at home without sugar for two weeks now, and it's like a whole new drink. Has anyone else had a moment that made them change a long-time coffee habit?

That's awesome, but I'm pretty sure Yirgacheffe is from Ethiopia, not Kenya.

Honestly isn't it grown all over East Africa though?

Oh totally, I've had some incredible Yirgacheffe from a little shop near my place that sources directly from Ethiopia... it's honestly my favorite morning brew.
