That $80 pour over kettle was a total waste for me
I bought a fancy gooseneck kettle last spring thinking it would fix my uneven extractions. Turns out my regular stovetop pot with a cheap thermometer does the same job for me, I just had to practice the pour. Lost about $80 on that thing, sold it at a garage sale for $15. The real hack was weighing my beans and timing my pours, not the gear. Anyone else drop cash on a tool that ended up being hype? What's the one coffee item you regret buying most?
