TIL that 70% of coffee drinkers add sugar and cream
I was reading a coffee industry report last night from the National Coffee Association and found out that 7 out of 10 people in the US still add milk, cream, or sugar to their coffee. That surprised me because in my local shop in Portland I see mostly black coffee orders. The report was from 2023 and had a sample size of over 3000 people. Has anyone else noticed a big difference between what people drink at home versus at a cafe?
