Vent: my grinder died mid pour and I finished the beans in a blender

My $40 burr grinder crapped out on Saturday morning, right in the middle of a batch for my brother's visit. I panicked and ran the rest through my kitchen blender, which turned a nice medium roast into straight dust. Anyone got a cheap hand grinder that won't choke on a coarse setting?
