Warning: The new cafe in Springfield put cinnamon in my espresso without asking

I stopped at that new spot on Maple Street yesterday and ordered a double shot, but the barista just sprinkled cinnamon on top before handing it over (which, you know, kind of changed the whole flavor profile). I'm all for trying new things, but I feel like you should ask before adding stuff to a basic drink. Do you think cafes should always check first before adding any extras?

Seriously? It's just cinnamon, not motor oil. Send it back next time.

Right? Some places act like they're sprinkling gold dust. Last time I got a latte, it looked like they dumped the whole shaker on there. Tasted like a candle. Gotta vote with your wallet and refuse to pay for that mess.
