A guy at my local shop in Fresno explained why he bags his comics in twos, and I still think about it
I was at a shop on Blackstone Ave in Fresno like 6 months ago, just flipping through a dollar bin, and this older guy next to me was rebagging everything he touched. Not buying, just rebagging. I asked why and he said, real quiet, "If I find a good one in a bad bag, that's my good deed for the day." Then he pulls out this beat up X-Men issue, slides it into a fresh bag and board, and puts it back in the bin. I watched him do it for like 15 more minutes. He never bought anything, just walked out. Here's the weird part, I went back the next week and a bunch of books in that bin had shiny new bags. Guy had been doing it for a while I guess. So now I keep a pack of bags in my trunk and I fix up a few when I'm browsing. Does anyone else do stuff like this or am I just copying a stranger from Fresno?
