Back in 2015 I swore digital comics would never replace the real thing
I was that person who said flipping through a floppy was the only way to read comics, no exceptions. Then I moved to a tiny apartment in Chicago and had to box up 2,000 issues just to have floor space. Has anyone else changed their tune on digital reading after a big move or downsizing?

Man, you were braver than me - I had a similar wake up call when I had to downsize from a house to an apartment. What finally worked for me was just switching to a tablet that had a good screen for comics and buying only digital for new releases. I still keep a short box of my absolute favorites for the nostalgia, but the rest is all on my iPad now. It took some getting used to, but being able to read a whole run without pulling out seventeen boxes is a game changer. Have you tried any of the reading apps that let you zoom in on panels? That actually made me like digital more than paper for some artists.

Oh man, you totally nailed it with the panel zoom thing! Once I got used to reading on an 11 inch tablet, I actually started preferring it for detailed artists like Esad Ribic or JH Williams because you can really see every little brushstroke. Just dont cheap out on the screen, I learned that the hard way with a budget tablet that had terrible glare and made everything look washed out.
