DAE have a story about a comic shop disaster? My local store flooded last month.

I was at my usual spot, The Panel Vault, on a Saturday morning for the new releases. I was in the back issue bins, looking for a specific issue of The Flash, when I heard this weird gurgling sound from the bathroom. Next thing I know, water starts pouring out from under the door. A pipe had burst. It was chaos, people were grabbing books off the lower shelves, and the owner was just standing there looking totally lost. Me and a couple other regulars ended up helping him move all the long boxes from the floor to the countertops for like an hour. We saved a lot of stuff, but a bunch of old magazines in the discount bin got soaked. It was a real bummer. Has anyone else had to help their local shop deal with something like that?

Honestly, that sounds like a win to me. You guys saved the good stuff, and the owner probably really needed the help.
