My buddy kept telling me to give digital comics a real shot
For years, my friend Mark said I was being stubborn about sticking to physical books. He told me, 'Just try the Marvel Unlimited app for a full month, you can read on your tablet during lunch.' I finally did it last fall, mostly because my local shop closed for a remodel. I was shocked at how much I liked being able to jump from a 70s Avengers run to the newest X-Men issue in seconds. It saved me a ton of money on back issues I was hunting for, and my shelves are less cluttered now. I still buy my favorite series in print, but for trying new stuff or catching up, digital is my go-to. Has anyone else made a switch like this and found it changed their reading habits more than they expected?

Sounds great, but you still need internet.

Did you find it easier to stick with reading once you could bounce between different eras without digging through boxes? I used to be one of those "physical or nothing" guys, swore digital would never replace the feeling of a floppy in my hand. But I gave it a shot during a long bus commute last year and honestly it changed how I think about comics. Being able to pull up a random 80s issue of Daredevil while waiting for my transfer made me realize I was missing out on a whole library for no good reason. Now I do the same thing you do, grab new stuff digitally and buy the physical copies of the runs I really love. It makes way more sense than I ever wanted to admit.
