My LCS owner told me to stop hoarding #1s, he was right
Went into Comic Vault in Austin last month with a stack of 30 random #1 issues I'd grabbed over 5 years, thinking they'd pay for a convention trip. Owner Mike flipped through them and said "nobody cares about these unless they're keys, sell the run you actually read." Sold the junk for $40 store credit, traded for a full Brubaker Captain America run, and now I actually look forward to my pull box. Anyone else have a store owner who gave you hard advice that improved your collecting?
