My longbox organizer app lost 400 comics when I updated it

I spent two hours Thursday night inputting my back issue collection into one of those cloud tracking apps. Woke up Friday morning to a sync error and suddenly my pull list showed zero issues. The app said it was a known glitch from the latest update, and my backup was from three weeks ago, so I lost 400 entries. I spent the whole weekend redoing it on a spreadsheet instead. Has anyone else had a database crash like this, or am I just cursed with bad digital luck?
