Traded a stack of 90s X-Men for a Silver Age Daredevil and instantly regretted it
I swapped about 15 issues of X-Men from the 90s at a shop last weekend for a single Daredevil #8 that looked clean. The dealer was nice about it but I realized later those X-Men books had some real sentimental value from when I was a kid. Has anyone else made a trade they wish they could take back?

Honestly, a buddy of mine did something kind of similar a few years back. He traded a whole short box of 90s Image books for a single high-grade Amazing Spider-Man #300. He felt sick about it the next day because those were the first comics he ever bought with his own lawn mowing money. Now he just stares at that book on his shelf and wishes he had his old Valiant run back. Tbh, sentimental value always sneaks up on you like that.

totally get that feeling. my buddy dan once traded a full run of early spawn issues, like 1 through like 30 or something, for a single x-men #1 from 1963 that was kinda beat up. he thought he was getting a steal but he still talks about those spawn books, especially issue 9 with the capullo cover he thought looked so cool. @robert64 got it right, that sentimental stuff just hits you out of nowhere, especially when you realize you traded away the actual memories from flipping through them after school.
