Showerthought: after 3 years of watching new guys splash, I noticed the ones who make it all ask about the hose first
Back in 2021 I was working a dock job in Morgan City and my supervisor pointed out something I never forgot. He noticed the new divers who last past the first month are the ones who ask about the hose and the gear before they ever ask about the pay. Last month we had two guys start on the same crew and one of them spent his whole first day learning the hose setup while the other one kept checking his phone. Guess which one is still on the crew. Any of you notice that same pattern with new guys coming up?
