Tbh, I was back at the old shipyard in Norfolk last month and the gear they're using now is just wild.

Oh man, that reminds me of when my cousin took me to see a drydock overhaul years ago. The cranes looked like giant metal dinosaurs, all rust and noise. Seeing the new stuff must feel like stepping into a sci-fi movie, it's crazy how fast that changes.

The scale of the upgrades is hard to picture until you're standing there. My old foreman said the same thing after his tour, that the new rigging systems run on what looks like magic. It makes the gear from a decade ago seem like ancient history.
